Introduction

Transmission lines are very important to investigate and discuss the excitation system is also a major concern. One needs to discuss these topics into details to be able to manage the selection, design, and operation with the performance matters. Engineers and technicians using or planning to use Computer software PLS-CADD and PLS-TOWER for design, optimization, assessment, upgrade, and construction of Overhead Transmission Lines. This software is currently state-of-the-art and is used by more than 500 utilities and companies in about 50 countries. 

Objectives

    To help the participants to understand the science of the transmission lines and to understand the material and the properties of the system and the network in general. 

Training Methodology

This is an interactive course. There will be open question and answer sessions, regular group exercises and activities, videos, case studies, and presentations on best practice. Participants will have the opportunity to share with the facilitator and other participants on what works well and not so well for them, as well as work on issues from their own organizations. The online course is conducted online using MS-Teams/ClickMeeting.
