Introduction
Welcome to the world of Storeroom & Spare Parts Management. This course will provide systematic, risk-based approach to managing the storeroom and the spare parts found within it. When storeroom and spares are managed poorly, the entire organization suffers, as money is wasted and so is production capacity.
By managing spare parts based on risk, the organization can stock more the right parts, ensuring high uptime. The organization also reduces costs through optimized spare parts holdings and reduced obsolesce.
This course was designed for those who are responsible for managing storerooms and spares parts. It is made up of lectures, case studies, applied exercises and quizzes to reinforce the learning objectives. Best of all many of the exercises can be applied in your workplace, allowing you to connect the material with real-life examples.
In addition, this course is recognized by the Society of Maintenance & Reliability Professionals, under their Approved Provider program. If you complete this course, you will be accredited with 24 hours toward the recertification of the CMRP designation, complete with a certificate.
