Air Compressors, Operation, Maintenance and Troubleshooting

Introduction

Compressors' operation and maintenance together with the troubleshooting mechanism is one of the major articles in most parts of industry. The obeyed techniques are varied from one place to another. As a result, these points are to be discussed in details.

Objectives

The course aims at performing the standard maintenance strategies and associated steps in the right time. The inspection will be divided into daily, monthly, semi-annual and annual inspection. The inspection will be divided into several intervals with associated activities. The complete compressor overhaul will be also discussed with a great emphasis on the major repair if any.

Training Methodology

This is an interactive course. There will be open question and answer sessions, regular group exercises and activities, videos, case studies and presentations on best practice. Participants will have the opportunity to share with the facilitator and other participants on what works well and not so well for them, as well as work on issues from their own organizations.
